I recently returned home to Bradenton Beach, Florida from teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) for the last 12 years in a university in Thailand, Thai Nichi Institute of Technology and part-time with language schools. I came back to be closer to my family and give my wife a better chance at a more stable job with a better wage as a nail stylist. I consider teaching to be a service related job. I have my own teaching materials and custom designed supplements. I worked for two different cafés as a barista, while getting my college degrees so I understand service. My first job was at a café in a Books-A-Million in Orlando, Florida while I attended Fullsail Real World Education studying Computer Animation. The second time I worked as a barista for a Starbucks café in a shopping mall in the heart of downtown San Diego while completing a 4 year degree in Humanities from San Diego State University in California. I can create my own learning materials and never repeat the same lesson twice.

Before college I completed 4 years of honorable military service in the U.S. Navy after 9/11 which sparked my desire to travel. Prior to enlisting in the Navy, I also worked as a graphic designer in both Florida and California. I continued working in this field while in Thailand and can share with you some of my work designing restaurant menus and creating attractive ads to help market companies. I liked designing my own teaching material and there were times that we were required to create our own textbook material to reduce in paper and the cost for students by using projectors in classrooms. My intention is to work as and ELS or Humanities related subject teacher either online or in a classroom for a school that offers benefits having my Bachelor's degree and TESOL Certification. I believe working in the hospitality or grocery industries are also reliable. I feel that with the value of my life experiences and education I would be easily trainable and hope to be a good teacher for your students. Over 12 years of teaching with a university and language school in Bangkok and Myanmar and a high school teacher in government schools in Bangkok. I have gained experience in teaching both young and older students with provided materials or on my own, creating my own lessons. I have learned about the strengths and weaknesses of students learning a foreign language, and would very much love to use my experience with more than just classroom teaching.
