PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

KEANE HR CONSULTING, INC., HR Outsourcing Firm (HRO) 2008 – 2024 Director of Human Resources

Launched an independent HR consultancy and contracted out as a senior HR subject matter (HRBP/HR Manager/HR Director/Generalist) expert to conduct organizational assessments and implement strategic HR solutions to meet the needs of small and mid-size companies (25 to 1000 employees) across multiple industries. Industries served included manufacturing, distribution, technology healthcare, non- profits, finance and many more. I was not a get in and get out type HR Consultant, I partnered with each client and became a seamless HR team member/partner. Examples of Scope of My Duties:

• Participate in and/or lead clients’ strategic planning teams, leveraging SWOT analysis method to define annual strategic objectives and craft detailed roadmaps to achieve business goals.

• Integrally involved in multiple business restructurings, assessing/downsizing workforces, designing severance packages, leading change management initiatives, and more.

• M&A due diligence

• Played a key role working with multiple startups to establish HR functions and build HR departments from the ground up.

• Craft/execute Employee Engagement surveys and work hand-in-hand with CEOs to translate insights-gained into actionable HR strategies addressing key problem areas to improve performance.

• Leverage expertise in DISC assessment to enhance to drive recruitment, hiring, and team building initiatives.

• Serve as a Benefits Administrator, finding appropriate benefits solutions at reduced costs to meet corporate needs. Balanced employer cost and employee needs with creative benefit offerings. HR Director / Consultant

In on the ground floor of the HR outsourcing/PEO/consulting firm, acting as HR Director and serving as a senior consultant organizing and implementing HR functions for over forty clients across 10 years, while constantly being acknowledged by clients for delivering world class service.

• Made major contributions to enhance organization practices and continue to drive the firm’s growth and success.

• Oversaw the firm’s Payroll Department, Recruiters, Accounting, and a team of HR Generalists, delivering the training and coaching enabling staff to excel.

• Managed and processed payroll for over 40 client’s multi- entity, multi-site with 10,000+ total employees. Payrolls were weekly, bi-weekly, semi- monthly, and monthly in addition to ad-hoc commission and bonus runs.

• Set up all new tax accounts per state and calculated tax due for each client, 941, 940, State Unemployment, State and Local tax and was responsible for processing the forms and remitting taxes per Federal, State and Local guidelines.

• Oversaw and participated with my team in all Quarterly and Year end payroll and tax functions.

• Provided HR expertise for clients in the areas of Employee Relations, Workplace Investigations, Benefits Design & Administration, Strategic Planning, Talent Management, and more.

• Partnered with clients’ leaders to understand organizational needs and introduce changes to meet strategic goals.

• Designed/employed employee surveys and conducted HR audits to gather critical insights to further improve each client’s HR function and maximize compliance.

• Rolled out state of the art in-house HRIS solutions for clients and provided comprehensive training to utilize the full range of capabilities.

• Authored customized employee handbooks, HR policies, job descriptions, and compensation/bonus plans, among other key assets.

• Advised clients and managed FMLA, FLSA, EEO, ADA, and other similar regulatory requirements.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

During my tenure with General Electric as an HR Specialist and Representative I processed multi-site, nationwide payrolls utilizing GE’s proprietary system CPARS for 10,000+ employees on a bi-weekly and ad-hoc basis. Also responsible for separate weekly union payrolls in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Page 3 3

I was required to understand how to calculate a gross to net paycheck using a piece of paper, calculator and IRS tax tables taking into account withholdings, deferred compensation and pre-tax compensation using both federal and state regulations.
