Resume:

How to Approve My Timesheet

• Click HR & Payroll

• Click Time & Labor

• Click My Timesheet

o On this screen, the dates will default to the current week.

• Apply Approval in either of the below two ways:

o Approve each day individually by checking the boxes to the left of the date, and then by clicking the Save button.

o Approve the entire week by clicking the Approve All button box and then by clicking the Save button.

• If an adjustment to your timesheet is needed:

o You can add PTO or Unpaid Time Off by clicking on the row of the shift of the specific day that needs to be adjusted.

The day’s row should then be highlighted in yellow. o Click the X to delete the work shift.

o Once the day is selected, click the + Add Row button. o In the dropdown menu, select the PTO type you would like to use (Sick, Vacation, etc.). o In the Start Time box, enter the number of hours of PTO you would like to use:

If you are taking off a full day, enter 8 hours.

If you are taking off a half day, enter 4 hours.

If you are entering Unpaid Time Off, enter 0.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Prior to adjusting your timesheet, you should review your available PTO balances in your Self-Service Portal upon logging into Paylocity and seek approval to use PTO from your manager.

• WHEN TO APPROVE: To ensure timely processing of employee timesheets, it is best to review, make any necessary adjustments, and approve your timesheet before the end of the day on Friday of the current week.

• 15 DAY ABSENCE POLICY: It is against company policy for an employee to be absent (with or without having PTO) longer than 15 working days (3 weeks). If an employee is absent or requests to be absent for longer than 15 working days (3 weeks), please notify your manager immediately so they may notify the Human Resources and the Payroll departments accordingly.
