Position: Paralegal - Responsible for the preparation of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Applications to be filed with the US Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Ohio Western Division. Collect all documentation from the clients necessary for the preparation of the application. Maintain the Case Management System regarding the progress of each case from the initial filing to discharge. Notate all communications with the clients. Prepare pleadings, letters plus any other miscellaneous documents under the supervision of the attorneys. Position: Paralegal - Responsible for the preparation of the Banks response to the Bankruptcy Trustees Preference Letters. This letter is a request for the release of funds deposited into the customers account within 90 days of filing bankruptcy. This necessitated researching the account(s) and either turning over the entire amount requested or partial amount depending on the amount negotiated with the Trustee. Also responsible for taking customer phone calls of those currently in bankruptcy or about to file for bankruptcy.
