At Island Girl Cosmetics, I began a new journey into the makeup Industry. At Island girl, I was taught how to custom blend foundation,mix pigments into the product to enhance undertone and brighten skin tone. I was taught how to do a face in good time for wedding expos etc.

We specialized in ethnic foundations because at that time, there was not many brands who had a wide range of colors, besides Prescriptives Cosmetics. It was a true honour working beside Janet, she taught me things that I still carry in mind to this day.
