Resume:

Lowes Call Notes

-Keep safety in mind – Wear PPE

-Red vest executing 3PL – have leniency with them. Questions could come up.

-ASM leading project at store level

-Projects will likely start in Lighting Department.

oBig department, a lot more electrical work involved, be ready

oMake sure top stock removed – work with store (Chandelier top stock)

oBe careful cutting wires

oMost likely the entire first week

-Do not disconnect the entire P51 area and disconnect everything.

-We should get out in front of the 3Pl work with the disconnects, when Red Vest resets bays, we come back and install fixtures in correct bays that they go in.

oHillman product – do not need necessarily to disconnect since nothing moving

oDoor locks, hardware bays that require lighting – they are getting moved, or adjacencies changing so we should go in by entire department and have electrician power down, remove lights and come back and install lights – install per the lighting guide.

-There could be some lights leftover FYI

-May make sense to disconnect the entire department

-If we get into a store that has new LED lighting installed. Those lights should already be accurate as the LED retrofit company should have installed per the lighting guide.

-Stores with LED retrofit – if we find cage (fluorescent) still existing, let Lowe’s know about it and they will ask us to remove the lights, get them to the right location. Hera LED lights will need to get ordered by store. Old canopy lights cannot be ordered. New LED needs to be ordered, or they need to wait for LED retrofit to occur to address.

-Christmas week is a blackout week

-Week of new year’s after Christmas – (4) 10-hour shift instead of working New Year’s Eve to avoid attendance issues.

-Week 3 – 1 visit only on THURSDAY NIGHT ONLY

-Week 6 – 1 visit only – the Field PM’s gather information of work needed. More visits possibly needed.

-If stores don’t need us in Week 3, document this, but DO NOT come asking for CO in week 6 if they need additional days.

oRequest to stores from FPM to stores = Y/N do you need electrician in Week 3. Rogers Electric suggested we do this.

-Commack Stores

oThe millwork desk will be moved. Confirm with store and make sure tech on site if needed.

-Regular Millwork Showroom (non-Commack) – desk relocates, electrician relocate the lights above the desk and the power pole for the desk

-PH has 3 of these stores. Stores will remove all the light fixtures from the cloud, but electricians will have to remove and take down the black clouds (cabled to ceiling) – dispose of them, and install racking where clouds are now with Chandelier pods, and Chandeliers must be wired. Coordinate with the ASM to find out when the lighting department is attacked so we can coordinate this.

-Commack Millwork & Commack Lighting

oLarge lighting arches

oCommack Lighting = 3PL will reset the lighting department (Apollo or ProVantage) – 3 week resets.

oCommack Lightings Start 12/27 (5) stores – we provide 2 electricians in those stores. More tearout – lots of relock to remove from arches. 3PL will tear out the arch and go back in with regular rack + fan cloud. We do not hang the fan cloud, only power the fan cloud and new area for chandelier pods. Get with 3PL and start power everything down on arches first, pull out relock – clean out ceiling, and then as they rebuild we will leave power for chandelier drops.

oMillwork – remove flooring, relo desk – remove UFO light fixture in ceiling. Tear outs starting on Sun/Mon. 5 to 8 man 3PL team doing the millwork showroom scope.

oRe-use existing power poles

-Our responsibility is to power the cloud ONLY. Stores reclip the chandeliers and fans in. Help troubleshoot but not sole responsibility

-Work with ASM to place the lights in a safe place. (Could lay in carpet rack or someplace safe)

-We are ONLY working on P-51 bay lighting that have bays moving, however stores may request help. Repairing lights not working – be flexible. If team has downtime, help out.
