To Whom It May Concern,
Please accept my resume for consideration and review as I express my interest in your organization’s needs to seek qualified individuals.
As you will see in my resume I have many skill sets while working in the medical field over the years in many different capacities, most of which I have served in Administration. These skill sets have assisted me to better understand the needs of each position I have held resulting in improvement in operations and revenues. I will only list the key points in my long career and hope to discuss them and more in detail with you. I have been honored to serve as the Administrator of a very profitable private family practice clinic for the past 22 years which under my direction annually increased it’s profits during my tenure. As the Administrator I served not only as Administrator but held all financial and operational responsibilities for the organization. I am an effective communicator with all staff, physicians and decision makers. I believe work should be based on a strong work ethic with attention to details and service to others. My current new interests have expanded into Project Management and Data Analysis.
Based upon my experience it is with confidence that I recommend myself as a potential asset to your organization. I would appreciate an opportunity to meet with you in person to discuss your organizations goals and objectives and my ability to help you fulfill them.
Respectfully,
Christina A. Montgomery, CPC, CRC

I am writing this Letter of Recommendation on Christine Montgomery. I welcome the opportunity to do this and provide a small amount of information on my experiences with Ms. Montgomery.
I have been in Practice for 34 1/2 years and President of Metropolitan Family Practice PA. I inherited my father’s and uncle’s practices that they had for about 30 years. I experienced several different Administrators until I met Christine over 20 years ago. She has been the rock of our organization and helped bring Metropolitan to whole new levels over this period of time. She has worn many different hats during this time as she basically could do anything our office required. We sold the Practice to Wellmed 18 months ago and she has assumed the role of Clinic Administrator. She has many different certifications that has allowed her to touch many different aspects of office management and help lead others in the office to excel in their roles. Christine has an exceptional ability to relate to all levels of staff in the office, colleagues at Wellmed and Senior Wellmed staff. During her employment at Metropolitan, she led the charge in growing our clinic not only financially but improved patient experiences along the way. Systems were developed under her guidance to work on our HEDIS Scores and STAR ratings. These were very successful. We were also a preferred group under several different Insurance Companies due to her efforts. The financial stability of the clinic grew on an annual basis. Thru her leadership, our overhead was in the 50-55% range which I would argue is better than most clinics around.
We began to get into the Medicare Advantage business over the past 5 years or so and were successful enough to receive significant bonuses based on her leadership in teaching the staff about the model and putting systems in place to improve this line of business. In 2020 we were in the process of negotiating the sale of the practice with Wellmed when COVID hit. Prior to 3/20, we had never done telemedicine and as most clinics, had to acutely deal with the challenges of keeping an office afloat not only financially but taking good care of our patients. If it had not been for Christine’s leadership and guidance, we would have folded before the sale to Wellmed in 8/20. The sale to Wellmed had nothing to do with COVID as those negations began in 8/19. She developed and implemented policies and procedures to begin using Telemedicine and work with all staff in safely caring for our patients.
Systems were put in place with her guidance for managing staffing in the environment, ensuring safety for all and finding ways to generate income using the Telemedicine model that we had never done before. She took charge and applied and we received the PPP loan as many other have done. She managed cash flow when it was unknown how Insurers were going to pay or when we would get paid. As in many offices, this was an insecure time and environment but she kept the ship going in the right direction on a daily basis. Thru her leadership, when you look at the finances of the office, we never had any issues with accounts payable or payroll, and in fact, it proved to be a financially successful year. Patients were extremely happy on our ability to care for them in the new environment. Had it not been for Christine, I am not sure we would have survived.
Our Clinic is now known as Wellmed at Metropolitan and as mentioned, Christine is our Clinic Administrator. She is not only doing the duties of the CA but has been doing all the financial issues with our Office Sharing Arrangement. Christine, currently and over the years, puts in more hours per day or week than anybody I know. She is detailed, meticulous, honest and leaves no stones unturned to figure out solutions to new issues that may arise. We recently had an office inspection and based on her leadership in the office with all the staff, we received one of the highest scores at Wellmed after only being in this environment for 18 months.
I am not sure exactly what role Christine may be applying for but would like to leave with this comment. There are many different types of responsibilities of various jobs in the Healthcare Industry. I have not seen anything that either Christine did not already know how to do or would be a quick learner for things she may not be an expert at. I cannot emphasis enough how detailed she is and has a great ability to “think outside the box” when situations come up. She plans ahead, works well with all levels of staff and is dedicated to her profession. I may or may not be the smartest Doctor in the world but hiring Ms. Montgomery 20 plus years ago was the smartest thing I ever did. If you would like any further information that I may be able to provide, I would welcome an email or phone call.
