Quality

Subaru *-****/feb****, ipc (in process checks) two years and then two years quality gate checks. Then another year back in ipc. Jobs involved drive off, hvac, alignment, checking all functions of the car, headlight aim, brake checks, and eyesight calibration. Alignment did involve an air torque gun to torque the rear alignment toe nuts, I was doing start up on our line testing all the equipment from start to finish, had to recalibrate all of our torque guns for the alignment pit as well, In quality gate I did have a specific amount of checks from the work instructions but there was always more added daily due to missed checks on the line, and had to be ready for change in an instant. If a vital was ever missed it could lead to injury or death, and we needed to make sure that did not happen.
