RETAIL STORE EMPLOYEES/GAS ATTENDANTS

The following is not intended to be all-inclusive and is subject to change at any given location. MACHINES AND TOOLS MAY INCLUDE: Cash register, calculator, computer, lottery terminal, gas console, gas stick, credit card machine, EBT machine, money order machine, soda and coffee machines, phone card machine, safe, mop, broom, snow shovel, cleaning supplies, case cutter, safety cones and price gun.

WORK ENVIRONMENT MAY INCLUDE: Cold and/or freezing temperatures. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The heaviest weight an employee may move is 45 pounds. This is rarely necessary (once every two weeks) and is performed when replacing soda syrup. The heaviest weight an employee may carry while walking is 40 pounds. The objects carried are plastic grocery totes measuring 19” x 15” x 12” and are filled with grocery items. During the course of performing this job the following physical demands may be anticipated: Standing Frequently

Stooping Occasionally (to stock shelves and open the in-ground gas tank) Kneeling Occasionally (to stock shelves)

Pushing Frequently (to close cash register and to occasionally move dollies of product) Pulling Occasionally (to open the safe, in-ground gas cover, handcart) Climbing Occasionally (with step stool and step ladder to hang signs and access stock) Crouching Occasionally (to stock shelves)

Reaching Frequently (below waist to retrieve bags and items below the counter) and load freezer chests
