I have been a life long musician. I started piano when I was 8 and transitioned to flute when I went into middle school. I continued to play up to my second year in college and was on a full music scholarship. Once I earned my associates degree, I transitioned to working in a special education preschool classroom and fell in love with the field. I missed playing however and auditioned to play for the Pensacola Civic Band and played with them for two years. Since then I have continued to work with children in multiple settings and currently work with my own three year old introducing music into his life.
