Duties: Performed all duties related to Quality assurance, quality control, lab management and research and development etc.
Quality Assurance :
• Create, implement, develop, monitor, and enforce food safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Provided quality system support to the operation systems and technical expertise to the manufacturing operations and product development as per Food safety plans, Preventive control programs, HACCP Programs, Recall plans, Corrective action plans & GMP programs - CIP (Clean- in-Place), SIP (Sanitation- in-Place) etc.

• Conduct CFIA, 3rd party audits, customer audits and internal audits and follow up on corrective actions.

• Conduct investigations to resolve quality deviations and customer complaints and implementing corrective action and preventative actions (CAPAs), reporting and communicating finding and participate in claim processes where applicable.

Quality control :
• Ensure in-house testing functions efficiently by managing staff scheduling, workflow and workload distribution among the technicians.
• Inspections, testing by testing ensuring raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods to meet food safety standards.
• Supporting shipping/receiving/distribution operations ensuring to follow HOLD /QUARANTINE procedures, FIFO,FEFO and LIFO methods
• Ensure finished products meet food safety & quality regulations, purity protocol and customer requirements.
Lab Management :
• Supervision of scheduling of collection of samples and conducing ( swab, allergen tests,
