Assist in the daily activity and care of adults with disabilities. Duties included spending time with and genuinely interacting with patients in positive manner. Also preparing meals for patients, shower and help to use restroom, maintain clean home facility. I also was certified by danvilles nurse to provide the patients with their medications which I would record and log all med data into danvilles website. I was required to take action and execute my CPR training. During dinner a patient was able to alert me that he couldn’t breath and was choking. I remained calm took immediate control of the situation and performed the Heimlich maneuver and was successful in clearing the blockage.
