Resume:

Education:

In a special program for the “gifted” I was give enrollment to a program that was hosted internally but brought in instructors front outside colleges to give particular disciplines, that IBM need employees to fill the position that IBM was in a dire shortage of because of the large growth in the IT and diversified computer services. I had held a 1 or 5 level for performance for the prior 3 years, so I was admitted to the class.

Also to include in this program was a large piece of business management. Even executive classes of Dale Carnegie shows you how broad base the curriculum was detailed in. In a normal degree you would see math, science, history or such. In this special program the goal was to provide the classes that would provide and employee with what would increase the employees income to IBM, and fill the skills needed to be the as soon as possible. You can see why 12 hour days were a rigorous, but a requirement. Knowing the plan IBM even included some stress management classes and executive business management, people management, and so on. It was definitely in a goal setting to provide the computer skills to business management skills. Computer networking was also in the because there will never be enough good, trained network skilled people with this growing computer sharing.

In addition I was given a basically blank check for any education classes that fell in or around this are of education. The hitch was I still had to pass every class that IBM provided.

If I failed 1 I would be fired at that time and could not even work for IBM.

To me this was quite a challenge that could not be a failure.

I also started my own business of building and repairing computers. It some was more than I could handle so I employed 6 service reps, to help me on the calls to business. Soon I was building plans for the clients for the computing needs and upcoming replacement so they could budget for up-coming need is an organized fashion for the years to come.

I did this for 15 years, while working at IBM. My manager was a ware and felt I was not in competition with IBM, so it was not a problem. Finally a jealous employee reported it to him, which he already knew. At that point he had to get a decision front corporate. It was that I was not in competition, but I would need to decide of the Computer support business or IBM. I only had about 5 years until I could retire, so I sold the computer business and only worked for IBM.

More details can be provided, but at this short notice I did not even have a resume built to current.

I didn’t know where else I could respond to these questions.

Please note that I had the Security clearance when I was at IBM

Also I don’t have a medical disabilities
