Instructions, Bulletins and Circulars. Ensured full implementation of UN Financial Regulations and Rules and other instructions. Ensured proper financial stewardship and administration of the Mission’s $2 billion annual budget for 8 years. Ensured that accurate and complete accounting, reporting and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are maintained for the largest peacekeeping budget in the UN history. I Coordinated with UNHQ, the Trust funds management from preparing the cost plan to the issuance of allotment by the Controller's Office. Exercised delegated authority from the Assistant Secretary-General, the UN Controller, with respect to approving Mission's disbursements and obligations and maintaining both the 2 accounts (PK funds and Trust funds). Performed duties as Approving Officer and ensured that expenditures, obligations and disbursements are approved and released correctly and on time, in accordance with the certified documents establishing the obligations.
