Integrated switchable pneumatic system between drive units, to assist in required rotational torque. Conduct FEA analysis to support design calculations. Designed complete roller box system, for umbilical travel between extrusion line, to new outdoor carousel and back to largest planetary cabling machine in the world. Re-designed tape head on armor line, simultaneously increasing safety and cycle time, therefore lowering risk to operators and reducing overhead cost of labor by 110%. Designed a temperature controlled die, for applying gas/water block adhesive, to assist with resistance to underwater static pressure.

Designed electric, adjustable roller box, to facilitate insertion of umbilical into tensioner unit. -Wrote and prepared various risk assessments and works instructions, for the above equipment. Merrick Industries INC 2011 - 2012

Designed one chamber 12” pipe vacuum box for laundry transport Designed a one chamber 6” vacuum box with weighing facilities. Designed and tested one sided vertical loading conveyor incorporating loading, weighing and bag leveling functionality.

Designed built and tested mechanical safety stop for rail breaks. Designed built and tested 30 degree pneumatic incline pusher for primary bags. Designed 3 chambered weighing Trisort, with functional bomb doors. Designed 2 chambered weighing Multisort, with functional bomb doors. Designed continue sort with weighing and pneumatic sliding doors. Designed, built and tested and patented a “one of a kind” rail cleaning device, never before conceived in the industry.
