• Knowledge of Combined Heat and power cycle (COGENERATION) as Steam Turbine is used the main source of power generation for the plant.

• Supervise the different units in the plant which includes steam generation, Sterilization, Extraction, Kernel Recovery & Depericarper and Clarification etc. Ensures adequate Start up and shut down procedure of the plant.

• Supervises the Maintenance of Electromechanical Systems such as Chain drives of conveyor systems, Elevator buckets, Shaft rotating Systems, pulley systems, motors, and pumps.

• Priotise maintenance activities to be done, to avoid breakdown and to adhere to best maintenance practice (Preventive Maintenance) thereby improving the efficiency of the plant. Prepare Maintenance task list according to job priorities. Keep Maintenance records of all components in the plant.

• Ensures all maintenance jobs are done according to the safe and standard operating procedures.

• Conduct regular health and safety talk with plant staffs, to adhere to best Maintenance practice.

• Ensures Technicians and process operators strictly adhere to lock out procedure s prior to working on equipment.
