Prior to contract execution, meets with Business Units and vendor and reviews key contract terms, conditions, and requirements including deliverables, and timelines.

Interprets contract provisions for Business Units and provides appropriate guidance.

Leads negotiations on contract modifications. Closes out the contract or issues termination notices and reviews settlement proposals. Presents alternatives and recommendations to solve unique and complex problems. Ensure clear, concise, and effective communication.

Knowledge to project close-out in accordance with customer requirements. Working with Planet one project develop and/or review prime contract and subcontractor flowdown documents to ensure compliance with prime contract requirements. Experience with participate in supplier site audits for fact-finding to ensure compliance to AS9100D or as prime requirement contractual flowdown requests. Participate in Concurrent Engineering teams as the Procurement representative in the design of new guidance systems Products. Assist with Ingalls strategic manufacturing contract negotiation and contract administration as the need arises. Flexible when my job requires to support mission travel.
