Twenty years of experience in procurement and logistics supporting North Slope projects for companies such as BPXA, ConocoPhillips and ExxonMobil. He understands what is necessary to ensure delivery of material in environments with difficult conditions and short construction seasons like the North Slope of Alaska. Onsite Senior Material Coordinator/Logistics/Buyer URS/ AECOM Currently working as Onsite Procurement/Subcontracts Manager for Project Sarah in Las Vegas, NV. This project is the construction of an electric car production facility due to be completed in 2017. As onsite procurement/subcontracts Lead I was responsible for the creation of subcontracts, procurement of long lead materials, negotiating subcontracts and oversight of the subcontractors on the jobsite. Project: Point Thomson, Alaska
Worked as procurement lead on the ExxonMobil Point Thomson Project for Jago C&M. a joint venture with the Village of Kaktovik on the North Slope of Alaska. Responsible for the purchase and logistics of all different types of materials from Ipods to 300,000-gallon fuel tanks. Wrote sub- contracts to other contractors and vendors. Supported the drilling effort to beat the December 31, 2010, deadline to drill 2 wells. Project team beat the deadline by 2-1/2 months. Supported the effort to remove everything off of the drill site in order to wait for Corp of Engineers permitting. (EWE), Orion, Borealis, S-Pad, Pipeline Renewal Project (PRP), CHOPS, and various well tie-in projects. We were responsible for the material support for all of BPXA’s North Slope Facilities and Warehouses. Worked in BPXA’s computer procurement and material management program CMMS as well as ASCI’s proprietary material management system SmartTools. Worked with BPXA Management to develop interfaces for the computer tools. Worked as ASCI Lead to interface with BPXA’s Supply Chain Management staff. Worked with BPXA Supply Chain Logistic Managers to ensure the correct disposition of material purchased for BPXA Projects as well as their O&M material. Implemented ASCI’s strategy to successfully achieve required scores to meet BPXA’s Metrics as well as KPIs. Worked for this 8A contractor as buyer and logistics support for numerous projects worldwide. Worked as onsite Project Manager for the JI-Parana Water and Sewer Project in Rondonia, Brazil. Installed hundreds of miles of HDPE water and sewer pipe for this city of 100,000 people in the brazilian rain forest. Responsible for moving men and materials to this area via the Amazon River in this challenging environment.
