Microemulsions, Pluronics and Tetronics Mediated Synthesis of Nanomaterials, Their Properties and its Applicability, Applications of Magnetic Nanomaterials in Supra Molecular Chemistry,Water Contamination.

Present on going work : 1.The Present Research Work is on the extraction of nanometallic pollutants from the aqueous phase by using surface active functionalized magnetic nanoparticles. Extraction will be driven by the host–guest interactions operating at the air– water interface between the Gemini surfactants and supra molecular molecules such as Cyclodextrin, Crown ethers and Cryptands immobilized on magnetic and Au/Ag NPs, respectively. The efficiency of the extraction process was monitored with the help of UV– visible and DLS studies and quantitatively analyzed by using TEM, FESEM, and XPS studies of the extracted complex consisting of magnetic and Au/Ag NPs. Fe/Au or Fe/Ag high mole ratio successfully accomplishing the extraction that further relied on the molecular architecture of Gemini surfactants as well as the cavity size of different molecules.The main aim of the research is to keep sustainability ahead of nanometallic toxicity by designing nanomaterials of minimum toxicity is requirement for future. 2. The Present work on synthesis of Au-Nanoparticles by seed mediated growth approach. The titrations were performed by using different pluronics and Tetronics by U.V. Visible Spectrophotmeter. In order to check the conductivity behaviour, the conductometic titrations were performed in cationic, anionic and non-ionic surfactants are used for the preparation of seed solution by seed mediated growth approach.The various properties of pluronics and tetronics are going to be studied such as cloud point viscosity, surface tension and hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of pluronics and tetronics the concentration titrations, time effect and temperature effect will be performed.

The main aim of research proposal is to synthesize Au Nanoparticles and magnetic nanoparticles by using various pluronics and tetronics in order to understand their micellar behaviour and can have potential applications in extraction from contaminated water. Since the synthesis of magnetic nanoparticles is energy efficient, cost effective and less time consuming.

3. Working on Polymers which are FDA approved and also on treatment of Water Contamination by using these Polymers.
