Cleaning of the facility entailed of sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming of all floors within the building. I had to strip, seal, and polish floors; and steam and shampoo carpets. I was responsible for following all procedures for using chemical cleaners based on the MSDS guidelines. As well as, the proper usage of power equipment to prevent the damage of the facility floors and fixtures. I was responsible for the cleanliness of the facility's windows by using soapy water/window cleaners with sponges or squeegees on either glass partitions or mirrors. I had to notify the managers of any major repairs or additions to building operations systems. As well as, the set up and removal of all decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, scaffolding in order to prepare the facility for special events and meetings.

Trash Collector Divine Staffing, Richmond, VA February 2010-november 2010 Trash Collector: Responsible for the inspection of the trucks prior to beginning of routes to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating conditions; if failed inspection: fill out defective equipment reports. I had to drive the trucks on my designated routes which were residential, industrial and business areas. As well as operate the compresses to collect the refuse by operating the automated or semi-automated hoisting devices that raise refuse bins and empty contents into the openings in the truck body. I had to dismount the garbage truck to collect garbage and remount the trucks to continue the scheduled routes as designated.
