Trash Collector Divine Staffing, Richmond, VA February 2010-november 2010 Trash Collector: Responsible for the inspection of the trucks prior to beginning of routes to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating conditions; if failed inspection: fill out defective equipment reports. I had to drive the trucks on my designated routes which were residential, industrial and business areas. As well as operate the compresses to collect the refuse by operating the automated or semi-automated hoisting devices that raise refuse bins and empty contents into the openings in the truck body. I had to dismount the garbage truck to collect garbage and remount the trucks to continue the scheduled routes as designated.
