Arc International – Dubai, UAE (Swedish company based in the UAE)
January 2019 to May 2023
As the project manager at Arc International, I oversaw the purchasing, refurbishment, and overhaul of an accommodation jack-up barge, with the objective of transitioning it from cold stack to warm status. Given the multidisciplinary nature of the project and the critical importance of meeting precise timelines, we carefully coordinated a wide range of maintenance activities in various areas, including the engine room, emergency diesel engine, cranes, HVAC, jacking systems and hydraulic pumps, helideck, water treatment systems, and water makers. For each component, we adhered to the DNV class regulations in order to obtain the necessary class certificate. (Our team was responsible for providing the necessary equipment, punch list items, and RFQ parts for the project. In order to execute the installation and construction tasks, we enlisted the expertise of various sub-contractors.)

Systeks Muhendislik Company – Istanbul, Turkey
January 2016 to December 2018
Conducted engineering and procurement activities in Turkey and neighboring countries to facilitate the promotion of various products and services in the power, mineral/chemical industries, oil and gas, and petrochemical sectors. Served as a distributor of Plastomatic Inc., a US-based company that specializes in the manufacture of polymer valves, pressure regulators, solenoid valves, and control valves.
Self employee & Researcher- Tehran
2018-2019
Led a research project aimed at identifying an optimal cetane improver for use in locally produced Gasoil in Iran, with the goal of reducing fuel consumption and increasing overall efficiency. After several months of research, our team produced 2EHN (2 Ethylhexyl Nitrate) using locally sourced feedstocks from petrochemical and chemical plants in Iran, as well as our own custom-designed machinery.
Foreign Procurement Manager
Pars Tajhizkaran Kimia Company,
Tehran-Iran & Istanbul/Turkey
August 2010 to June 2016
As an engineering, procurement, and commissioning (EPC) specialist in the gas, petrochemical, power plants, and other key industries in Turkey, my responsibility involved procuring needed services for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems, pipes and fittings, and packaged systems. The plan comprises two primary components:
Undertaking basic and detailed engineering for packaged systems.
Providing procurement services for refineries, petrochemical plants, and gas refineries.
PTK is part of Fateh Sanat Kimia group (FG), which conducts supply and procurement projects in petrochemical plants, and oil and Gas refineries in Iran and Turkey through offices in Iran and Istanbul, Turkey.)
Procurement Specialist
Namvaran Management & Consulting Engineering Company. (Project NF3 of BIPC) – Tehran, Iran
January 2008 to June 2010
Oversaw communications and expediting with various vendors, as well as ensuring all technical and commercial aspects were appropriately followed until the order was placed and transported to the designated job site.
Conducted negotiations with local and foreign companies to procure a wide range of engineering production units and raw materials that met technical and commercial requirements. Due to the nature of the project, the major parts of the contracts were with foreign companies in Europe under the facility agreement and on the basis of LOI payment terms. Additional requirements were supplied through local industries and agents.
NF3 project is a natural gas fractioning unit in the Bandar Mahshahr industrial zone and part of the Bandar Imam Khomeini Petrochemical Complex.
Technical & Project Manager
Manasanat Company – Tehran, Iran
January 2002 to December 2008
As a member of both the Geosynthetic Materials and Minerals departments, my role involved introducing, selling, and providing technical support for various geosynthetic materials such as geomembranes, geotextiles, geotubes, and GCL to diverse industrial sectors, with a particular focus on water and sewage, landfills, and water treatment. I represented and managed the marketing office of leading companies such as Tenax Spa., GSE, and Cetco Co. in Iran. As the project manager, I oversaw several water reservoir projects that utilized geosynthetics, including:
Songoon Copper Complex in east Azerbaijan province with a capacity of 170,000 m3, for their industrial usage.
Chavosh Agriculture Complex with a capacity of 210,000 m3 of water for their usage during the summer and several small reservoirs for industrial and agriculture sectors.
Sisakht Water Reservoir with the capacity of 80,000 m3 of water for agricultural usage.
Water and sewage projects for different cities in Iran; Karaj, Aligoodarz, Miyandoab. Utilized Geosynthetic materials (geotextile & geomembrane) to execute the water and sewage projects for different cities in Iran, including Karaj, Aligoodarz, and Miyandoab. The geosynthetic materials were used for isolating water wastes and preventing contamination of waste and hazardous fluids to the soil. The total usage of geosynthetic materials for each project varied from 100,000 to 450,000 m2.
Isolation of heap leach project for extracting the copper from copper ore (using 480,000 m2 of Geomembrane and Geotextile).
Isolation of acid factory of Sarcheshmeh copper mine/complex in Kerman Province, Iran.
Isolation of the tank farm in Borzooyeh (Noori) Petrochemical plant with geosynthetics materials.
As the technical manager and marketing manager of the mineral division, I spearheaded the introduction of specific minerals such as Bentonite, Silica, and Crude and expanded Perlite to various construction projects. One notable project was the LNG storage tanks of the Gas refineries in the South Pars Energy zone (phases 4&5 and phases 9, 10 & 11) where we supplied materials to Hyundai Company and its sub-contractors. A total of 6,500.00 MT of High purity Silica (99.2% between mesh 8 to 18) was used for leveling and bedding of the LNG tanks.
Supplied 2,000 MT of Perlite Ore to produce expanded perlite for a project where it was used to fill the annular gap in double tank walls as Low-Temperature Storage applications for non-vacuated cryogenic tanks. Over time, the perlite tends to self-compact, causing a decline in the level of perlite in the annular gap, which results in the appearance of cold spots on the exterior surface of the tank.
Marketing & Technical Manager
Majd Mineral Processing Co. Ltd. – Tehran
January 1999 to December 2002
Took charge of installing equipment in both mining and expansion units for Perlite mineral to produce crude and expanded Perlite. The resulting products have found widespread use in different industries such as foundry, oil welling, food and beverages, construction material, and low and high temperature/cryogenic insulation in Iran and neighboring countries. The Perlite mine and size reduction facilities were situated in the east Azerbaijan province, while the Perlite expansion factory was located in the Kaveh industrial zone, near the city of Saveh.
