I worked on a sustainment contract to maintain Oracle E-Business Suite 11i (11.5.10.2), Oracle Collaboration suite (10g).

As a Sr. Oracle E-Business Suite DBA/ Solution Architect and Security engineer, I was responsible for the smooth running of all systems, make sure all systems are compliant with US Army Information Assurance guidelines. Following are some of the responsbilities:

Installed, patched, and maintained multiple EBS instances in support of configuration control and change management of Oracle Applications and related third party bolt-on components.

As an Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Team member, I was responsible for developing Interfaces and converting Legacy data into Oracle Apps, customizing various reports, forms using PL/SQL, Sql*Loader, Shell Scripts, Developer 2000 and some DBA Activities. Used AIM methodology for implementation.

I worked as a Sr. Programmer Analyst for Indian Railways. I was involved in various In-House projects during my tenure at Indian Railways. Following are brief description of the projects in which I was involved.

Rolling Stock Management System:

Environment: Oracle 7.1, Developer/2000, SQL*PLUS, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, HP UX and Windows95.

This project is a conversion project from COBOL to Oracle 7.1. It deals with the maintenance of Bogies, Carriages and Boxns.

Traction Control System (TCS):

Environment: Oracle 7.1 server, Developer/2000 tool kit, SQL * PLUS, PL/SQL, HP UX, Windows 95.

TCS is an online multi-user decision support system which was designed to solve the problems of interruptions in electric supply caused due to tripping.

Freight Operating System (FOPS):

Environment: Oracle7.1, Sql*Plus, Pl/Sql, Forms 4.5, Reports 2.5, and Windows 95, HPUX, Windows 95.

Freight Operating System is enterprise wide software for the Indian Railways. It was developed to computerize the freight operations of Indian Railways.

Environment: COBOL and SCO UNIX.

Manpower Planning Information System (MPIS):

Environment: COBOL and SCO UNIX.
