Skills - Construction, Construction Management and Supervision

Knowledge and strong understanding of most A.I.A. contract documents between Architect, Owner and Contractor, A.I.A. contract administration and A.I.A. application for payment, including scheduled values on Excel continuation spread sheets.

Thorough knowledge and the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications, implement activities necessary to achieve compliance with said drawings and specifications

Experienced and very thorough in reading, estimating and providing accurate and detailed

cost estimates for both residential and light commercial Architectural drawings, plans and specifications.

Experienced in locating, selecting, managing, evaluating qualified subcontractors and supervise

crews to obtain top quality workmanship, efficiency, employee satisfaction, morale communication, commitment, teamwork and pride., and to assist with procurement and subcontractor negotiations. Knowledge and ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong-to recognize problems when they occur and work toward the solution of those problems.

Experience with state and parish permitting processes, architectural design, code and

submittal reviews., Working knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental, safety,

regulations and familiar with using critical path and pull scheduling charts.

Knowledge and the ability to evaluate potential development sites and perform feasibility analyses related to property acquisitions

Knowledge and the ability to assist in preparing comprehensive real estate due diligence on properties for acquisition and financing.

Knowledge and the ability to manage the pre-development process. Oversee project design development and preparation of project plans and specifications.

Experienced and the ability to coordinate with public agencies for permitting, inspections, insurance, assurance and close-out requirements for developments.

Knowledge and the ability to secure entitlements, obtain project approvals from planning and building departments and other regulatory agencies.

Last but not least-probably irrelevant but most proud accomplishments in my life are my

two sons, Lt. Colonel Lawson G. Brannan III 49 years old. and Lt. Colonel Marlon Brannan

47 years old (retired Blackhawk Helicopter pilot) currently a middle school principal.

Lawson and Marlon served 2 tours in Iraq and both were recipients of the Bronze Star.
