Over 30 year’s professional project management experience in a series of increasingly responsible assignments. PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

JOHNSON-LANCASTER, INC, Strategic Projects Division, Maryland, 2020 – current Senior Project Manager for institutional food service facilities, as GC and subcontractor, in many different venues including corporate headquarters, secure facilities, hospitals, hotels, retail and airports. Johnson Lancaster works nationwide to procure, subcontract and install these food service facilities in multiple states with projects ranging from $100,000 to $5,000,000. HMC, INC, Columbia, Maryland, 2010 – 2020

Director of Project Management for institutional food service facilities and general construction at universities, corporate headquarters, military bases, intelligence community facilities (FBI, CIA, NSA), hospitals. HMC works nationwide to design, procure, subcontract and build these facilities. I have completed over 80 projects in 14 states during my 10 years with HMC ranging from $50,000 to $10,000,000. Reason for leaving: HMC switched it’s business model from full GC to millwork subcontractor.

GALLOWAY CONSTRUCTION, INC, Baltimore, Maryland, 2005 – 2009 Project Manager / Business Development responsible for all project management functions for all company projects and personnel as well as superintendent on the $12,000,000 Atwood Professional Office Building from out of the ground base building to fit out of 15 various medical office suites, also served as business development support to the president with respect to contacts, proposals, schedules and presentations. Reason for leaving: owner closed business primarily due to the recession and retired.

HARBOR VIEW CONTRACTORS, Baltimore, Maryland, 1999 – 2005 Director of Business Development responsible for owner / architect / client contact, relationship management, pre-construction activities, negotiated work, design build work, contractor selection interviews, search / monitor / procure work in planning stages, RFQ / RFP responses, directly responsible for procurement of projects totaling $12,000,000 (primarily successful bids from select bid lists). I was a future minority owner (one of six individuals) in the business transition agreement effective upon the owner’s decision to retire.

Project Manager responsible for construction of commercial projects, both new construction and renovation. Completed eight projects for Harbor View, project highlights include Chimes / Intervals (Negotiated, Baltimore City $3,000,000), Kidzcan Daycare Center (Design Build, Upper Marlboro, MD $1,300,000), Harvester Baptist Church (Competitive Bid, Columbia, MD

$650,000) (ABC Award for Excellence Project 2001). Full bottom-line responsibility for all phases of construction from permit to punch including budgets, correspondence, buyout negotiations, subcontracts, schedules, project meetings.
