Responsible for sending code teams out to emergent situations that may occur in the medical center. These include Code 99, Code 5, R.R.T.(rapid response team), Code Grey and Code Red.

• Often called to handle more difficult phone calls such as patients in distress, complaints, and crisis or suicidal calls. At that time the patient's info is copied and forwarded to Crisis hot-line and/or A.O.D. for further care.

Process

Server/Runner Office Manager and Law Clerk (Part-time) 20-30 Hours per week.

• Working for our family's firm my roles were many. Typed and filed complaints, motions and the like for civil cases. Completed case-law research, pre-trial memos and arbitration reports. Operated a multi- line phone system, set up conference calling and managed very heavy call volume.

• Operated all windows based software, and office equipment with a typing speed of 60 wpm.

• In the process server role I ran surveillance to update info on defendants or locate them for service- of-process. Many times introduced my observations into a court of law through a sworn affidavit. Most of the time, the civil law service-of-process went well, rarely requiring more than one attempt.

• Additional duties included calendar upkeep for court appearances and client consults. Clients files were updated daily to reflect recent case activity. Billing of daily case activity and time was accurate and up to date.

• I was forced to close the office abruptly. At that time I did see that all cases were turned over to the B.A.R. Most of the cases at that time were under time constraints, and I strived to turn over pending cases that could no longer be represented.
