Operation experience at GE FRAME 9E Gas Turbine (MARK VIe) & Alstom Steam Turbine VEGA 209.10 and Siemens V94.2 Gas Turbine (SPPA-T3000).

Operational and maintenance experience of 25 Ton steam coal boilers to generate steam for LSFO heating

Coal handling & management for three coal boilers installed at KAPCO.

Operation and maintenance of 10 High pressure steam Boilers of 150t/hr steam generation capacity each.

To ensure safe, smooth and efficient operation of GT and ST as per OEM recommendations.

To ensure smooth operation of Black Start Diesel Generator in case of country wide Blackout.

Preparation of Safety documents for issuing work permit to maintenance teams.

To attend regular Planning Meeting in order to discuss work progress, schedules, problems, interferences and priorities.

Planning reports for machine washing outages.

Maintaining the log sheet, performance sheet, fuel stock sheet and daily plant summary while monitoring plant parameters.

To prepare a shift report which provides sufficient data to ensure that operations are being accomplished within the specified limits, schedules and technical parameters.

Hazard Identification ad Risk Assessment while considering environmental aspects and relevant impacts.

To conduct and participate in emergency mock drills and Training of shift staff for emergency preparedness.

To effectively recover the auxiliary supplies of whole plant in case of any Minor or Major Blackout.

Total installed capacity of Kot Addu Power Plant is 1600MW with 10 no. of Gas turbines and 5 no. of Steam Turbines. There are 4 Gas Turbines of GE (General Electric Frame 9E), 4 Gas turbines of Siemen’s V-94.2 and 2 Gas turbines of FIAT Company: Be Green Solar Power (Pvt.) LTD
