Monitor Water Quality, oversee plant operations and treatment process, and pull water samples to verify treatment process and record results in water quality logbook in Laboratory Department using state regulations chemistry procedures Record hourly values from SCADA computer system in a control environment.
Record information from SCADA system on to operator logbook, calculate chemical usage hourly, and verify feed rate plant site.
Check equipment for chemical leaks and equipment malfunctions.
Check pressure gauges and chemical feeders.
Adjust chemical dosage based on water samples results. Monitor water qualities stations at storage tanks for alarms or alerts
Perform filter backwashing on Multimedia sand filters at filter plant building.
Preform calibration procedures on chemical feeder equipment Notify all departments of maintenance repairs and security issues on plant site.
Maintain and repair, and recalibrate equipment using hand tools Collect and preform chemistry procedures on collected water samples in compliance with state requirements in laboratory on plant site for Chlorine Residual and, Ph. levels and ORP levels and Conductivity and turbidity and record test results in Daily log lab sheet.
Drive company van to check water quality stations at tank sites for chlorine residua, PH levels and temperature and conductivity level.
