Advise clients on the best factory options for their garments by maintaining a vast sourcing network made up of strong relationships with over sixty factory partners overseas

Create sketches and drawings of apparel and accessories and include detailed specifications

Inspect construction on site and virtually to adhere to design specifications and oversee the entire quality control process

Oversee the complex logistics process from the initial factory all the way through either air or sea shipping, duty and customs clearance and trucking or air shipment to final destination

Importing items including evening wear, bridal, cotton garments including t-shirts, sportswear including track suits and active wear, footwear and accessories as well as home furnishings including fabrics for draperies, curtains, upholstery and decorative pillows.

Promote products by making arrangements for fashion and trade shows and providing sample garments to agents and sales representatives

Organize and supervise photo shoots of clothing. Choosing all participants from photographers, stylists, hair and make-up artists and models

Provide interior design trends and design options to best advise clients

Helped recruit over 400 full time Gifted and Talented Howard County Public School System high school students out of a pool of over 2000 applicants for the Howard County Public School Gifted and Talented System Intern Mentor Program

Recruited and enlisted the services of over one hundred Maryland professionals to serve as mentors for the Howard County Public School Gifted and Talented System Intern Mentor Program

Supporting domestic violence support groups like House of Ruth and Steve Smith Family Foundation

Feeding the Homeless and providing much needed supplies in Maryland for over 40 years

I ran my own company for over 24 years with employees both here in the U.S. and overseas in India. I just sold the company after working approximately 60-80 hours a week since 1999.

I am very passionate in regards to giving back the community. To me, mentoring, volunteering, community and charity work is both a privilege and duty. I have logged over 20,000 hours of community and charity work hours over the years. I believe I have made a positive impact in the world and will continue to do so.

I have spent more than 20 years mentoring high school and college students from various parts of Maryland. I took those I mentored to various volunteer, community service and charity work outings. I have worked with children with autism and had volunteered with those with developmental disabilities. I have dedicated my life to young people and those who need a helping hand. I am a people person and can work with and manage any age from children to senior citizens. I also helped organize events like charity events and fashion shows for more than 20 years.

In addition, I have been handling very complicated tasks for over 20 years.
