PROJECT: HRBT Hampton Road Bridge Tunnel, Norfolk VA The Hampton Roads Connector Partners JV. (HRCP) consisting a $3.3BN Design Build project awarded by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). A a new 3.5-mile bridge-tunnel crossing that will accommodate a total of 8 lanes of capacity across the water, replacement of the existing marine approach bridges and the addition of a third lane on I-64 in each direction. The twin 45’ diameter 1.5-mile tunnels will be bored by TBM, creating the second largest TBM tunnel opening for a TBM in North America.

• Responsibilities: Lead Engineer: Supervises assigned project work across the tunnel approach structures to ensure project compliance with contract drawings and specifications. Provides technical input to identify and resolve project risks including construction methods, work plan and material requirements. Initiates and manages all Requests for Information (RFIs), as needed by project. Assists the development of design drawings and provides technical input, as needed. Supports engineering team with quality assurance as needed. Reviews certificates and permits needed to perform work. Participates in all worksite tours with leadership or external parties

PROJECT: Pedestrian and Bicyclist Tunnel under New River – Feasibility Study, Fort Lauderdale, FL Feasibility study requested by FDOT to evaluate the potentiality for a pedestrian/bicyclist tunnel under the New River adjacent to the existing Henry E. Kinney tunnel in the City of Fort Lauderdale. Responsibilities: Project Manager: responsible of the feasibility study of construction for the pedestrian tunnel. This included a proposal of the technical design and final cost estimation of the construction and the maintenance and operation phases.

PROJECT: Second Avenue Subway (SAS), Metropolitan Transportation Authority, New York, NY. The Second Avenue Subway (SAS) is an underground subway line, part of the New York City Subway system. This $4.45 billion project consisting of two miles of tunnel and three stations, is under construction underneath Second Avenue in the borough of Manhattan.

Responsibilities: Project Manager responsible for working close to the Contractor during the Construction Phase setting out project works in accordance with Contract Drawings and Specifications. Identify options and recommend solutions to resolve technical issues during construction, providing comment on shop drawings, RFIs and perform new calculation when needed. Develop and review of technical specifications and proposals. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Ensure that all tasks are carried out as per schedule in stipulated time with quality.

PROJECT: FEMA Hazard Mitigation Technical Assistance Program, Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Long Island, New York, NY. The work is being performed under AECOM`s Hazard Mitigation Technical Assistance Program

(HMTAP) contract with FEMA. AECOM will provide technical services to support the program's response capability for all types of pre- and post-disaster mitigation activities to events such as Sandy`s coastal flooding. Responsibilities: Project Engineer responsible of substantial damage estimations and assessments for residential structure properties located in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Present technical explanations and proof of concept to nontechnical professionals in a clear and concise manner.

G&G Progetti, Rome, Italy 01/2008 – 08/2008

PROJECT: Pam Department Store, Rome, Italy. The Pam Department Store is a 46,000 square feet facility built in steel and precast concrete elements. Located on the northern edge of Rome will provide service for the garden suburb. Responsibilities: Structural Engineer responsible for developing the concrete and steel structural design, final static tests of structures and producing final construction documents.

Mazzacane Ingegneri, Rome, Italy 08/2008 – 01/2009 PROJECT: Calatrava`s LLC Sports City, Rome, Italy. LLC Sports City developed in an area close to the southern suburb of Rome, is comprised of two identical fan-shaped pavilions, arranged symmetrically, and a series of external infrastructure works to complete and complement the development. One of the pavilions will house the multi-purpose arena; the other will accommodate the swimming pools. The buildings will be functionally independent and therefore able to host different events at the same time.
