Adam Estep Maintenance & Construction Technical Professional Resume
CV:
I have consistent and measurable experience in the technical nature of project management and coordination at the program level. My expertise lay securely in executable operations from and end to end complete vantage point. I have worked in construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of residential, commercial, or end item efforts. I have a particular skill set working within the flooring industry where I have managed projects that range in value, up to and exceeds the 30M dollar threshold. In flooring the range of effort spans many different mediums such as concrete (with varying PSI hardness), to both wood, engineered wood and composite surfaces. I also am skilled in carpet, baseboard trim and round, cabinets, countertops, and crown molding.
I can derive the necessary technical information from which to plan, provision, and execute projects from physical measurements, plans, or a discussion with the customer. I can take the aggregate information and very clearly communicate the requirements and cost of those requirements to the customer in collation with a bill of particulars, labor force necessary to achieve scheduling, lead times to adequately fold material and labor in unison of one another.
I can work vendors in competition of each other to drive down material costs and use economies of scale to achieve the same. I can boil down necessary labor to a lean execution model that is consistent with any schedule intentions laid out in the contract and in doing this, I can arrange effective and solvent Just In Time Inventory. This allows for the lowest inventory quantity to be necessary on hand. Lastly, with vendors I can often arrange for the suppliers to allocate high volume materials to be kept in their inventory and buy in ebb and flow similar to a consignment arrangement.
I can set milestone markers and ensure schedule by meeting those markers. I am not limited to a disconnected administration function as I have and can perform the work with my own hands without aid from another if need be. I know the technical nature so completely I can manage every facet of the project with a great depth of capabilities and can ensure quality craftsmanship in aggregate of the whole as the planned process plays out task by task.
In the end, I have 25 years of solid provable and measurable experience in project coordination from every vantage point of construction and through the lens of sound business Administration. I know what to expect from other administrative players and the quality contribution one should expect to deliver to a paying customer. I reverse engineer all processes first, then evaluate them in sequential linear production, I do this because when evaluating the linear organic process data point collection (DPC) and hold point inspections (HPI) can be embedded in key locations affording a robust continuous improvement loop. DPC drive best practices while HPI reveals the Where, What, When, Who, & Why of processing and quality errors which allows the mitigation of waste in both production and labor due to re-Work and stymied production scheduling.
In the end I have plus skills that some may say make me overqualified for such a position, but I want it understood I know exactly why I am applying for this position even if it is some what an entry level position and compensation package. One. I desire to remain in a technical role, I want a more hands on capacity, I am committed to operations management, and I highly seek the location of the role. I am willing to negotiate for less pay for location proximity to my home and as long as an upward potential is extant that I may advance myself based on the merits of my skills and knowledge I bring to b
