January, 2017 – November, 2020 – Lenzing Fibers, Inc. – Construction Manager – Tensil Fibers Project in Mobile, AL

• Construction Manager responsible for the execution of a $300MM brown-field new fibers plant.

• Over 500,000 safe work hours with zero injuries.

• Provided leadership in the development of the project cost control plan and project schedule.

• Executed the facility site prep, including the BMP’s, installed 101 dewall pilings, 35 piling foundations, 2 metal warehouses, 2 sediment ponds, roads, bridges, and utilities.

• Project was put on-hold for business reasons.

January, 2015 – November, 2015 – Randstad Engineering Services / CDI Engineering, Inc. Construction Manager - Solvay Project Dawn Alkoxylation unit in Pasadena.

• Owner’s Construction Management representative responsible for all aspects of project execution for the

$64MM green-field project.

• Over 350,000 safe work hours with zero injuries.

• Provided leadership in the development of the project cost control plan and project schedule.

• Utilized Excel to provide the SAP interface for cost control, and Primavera P6 for schedule control.

• Planned and executed the installation of 6 reactor modules delivered from China valued at $21MM.

January, 2001 – January, 2013 – E.I. DuPont de Nemours Area Manager - Capital Projects, Construction, and Supplemental Maintenance. Built, led, and managed a dynamic organization around nine key DuPont and contractor management personnel that was recognized as a model for the corporation. Significant accomplishments included:

• Zero recordable injuries and Zero LWC’s for five consecutive years.

• Managed the small capital growth initiatives for the business units. Those initiatives grew from $2MM in 2001 to $15MM in 2012.

• Site lead for the implementation of SAP Project System for project cost control.

• Utilized Icarus for project estimating and interface to SAP PS.

• Site lead for the utilization of Primavera schedules for all site capital projects.

• Managed the supplemental maintenance workforce. The size of this workforce ranged from an average of 110 to a peak of 300 during maintenance turnarounds.

• Managed the design group and projects group and related support personnel.

• Managed the Contract Administration organization and support personnel. Fiscal oversight responsibility was $20MM annually.

September, 1998 – January, 2001 – Washington Group International, Inc. Construction Manager supporting DuPont – Louisville Works. Accomplishments included the construction management of a $15MM Waste Water Treatment project, a $9MM polymer project, and the construction support and management of several smaller capital projects with an annual average spend of $5MM. June, 1995 – September, 1998 – Quantum Resources

Engineer and Project Manager supporting DuPont – Washington Works. Accomplishments included the design and installation of a $2.5MM polymer extruder, and a $1MM modern packaging system. April, 1993 – June, 1995 – L.B. Foster Company - Project Engineer. November, 1991 – October, 1992 – MTI Engineering Services - Machine Design Engineer. December, 1990 – November, 1991 – STARC – West Virginia National Guard Helicopter Aviator. Performed domestic aviation missions in support of Operation Desert Storm and the State of West Virginia.
