Letter of Application

Dear Sirs, Date 10/18/2023

In reference to the IT Specialist (INFOSEC) position you have open I would like to apply. In May of 1987 I graduated from Augustana College, Sioux Falls SD with a B.A. in computer science. I received an over all GPA of 3.3 and grade point of 3.6 in my major Past experience in working with private enterprise, educational institutions and state government using IBM mainframes, IBM minicomputers, and PC LANs for twenty years has given me a background which, I believe would make me a very effective member of your organization. My background consists mainly of working with PC LANs. Also, I have experience in setup/operations of main frame to mini/PC communications software. I am also knowledgeable on crypto currencies. In addition, my experience in such areas as systems development, banking, college instructor, end user support of software applications will give me the ability to handle any training or software/hardware trouble shooting. I also have experience working with a variety of hardware control/measurement devices in addition to PC hardware assembly and repair.

I realize there is a time gap in my work history, however, I had some family issues I had to deal with. In short, everyone in my immediate family passed away, and I would end up being the executor, and/or taking care of them before they passed. Enclosed is a copy of my resume which includes a summary of my working experiences. I want to thank you in advance for considering me for this position, and look forward to hearing from you.

Cordially,

Todd DeZotell
