Responsibilities and Duties:

1.Reading documents/orders to ensure proper material was selected and identifying potential hazards.

2.Packaged aluminum materials for shipment via semi trailer and recreational vehicle’s.

3.Examine and measure steel products to verify conformance to specifications

4.Verify, the accuracy of quantity and quality of deliveries

5.Identifying and locating the right products during the delivery process

6.Keeping all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance

7.Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products

8.Handling returns by completing documentation and other required communication

9.Maneuvering and staging the 18 wheelers for the loading of material/inventory requested in orders and prepping trailers for storing cargo in various locations, and using materials like pallets and cargo boards

1. Inspection of machinery before and after to ensure equipment is in good working condition. If upon inspection some defects or issues are found, reports are filed so that they can be addressed appropriately.

2. Loading and unloading of cargo (Rail cars) and moving from point A to point B.

3. Follow safety, processes to ensure the quality of work.

4. Rendering regular repairs and maintenance as needed to ensure OSHA safety.

5. Reporting more serious defects for repair by an authorized service provider.

6. Check cut parts with tape measure to make sure they are correct length, thickness, and are within tolerance.

9. Clean, lubricated and adjusted machinery to maintain efficient operation, using air hoses, cleaning fluids and hand tools

10. Verify dimensions of finished product using measuring devices select and install blades on saw machines.

11. Cleared machine jams using hand tools and lubricated or cleaned machines using wrenches, grease guns, or solvents.

12. Packaged aluminum materials for shipment via semi trailer and recreational vehicles.

13. Measured all types of steel of various thicknesses and lengths to specification.

14. Rebuild of steel pipe locations in and outbound for inventory purposes
