Quality Engineer / Supplier Coordinator. Maintained and created some 10,000 dies for all customer required gaskets. Many gaskets configurations for the Heavy Duty Sector as well as the Big Three and Foreign and Domestic makes and models. We also laser cut complex configurations “Wood Backed Rule Designs” for cutting various gasket and friction materials.

Supplier quality engineer responsible for procuring PPAP submissions from over 300 suppliers Dana Sealing Products.

Working on cross functional teams to improve quality of supplied parts and establish a set of criteria for all DANA suppliers to follow which improves the durability of their Heavy and Light duty OE sealing unit products.

Promoted to Maintenance and Tool Shop Manager in 2009. Directly involved with establishing and laying out a total plant restructure. A total of 14 maintenance men and 6 Die shop direct reports. Saint Gobain Corporation Jan 2006 – July 2007 (Terre Haute Indiana. Certain Teed Fiber Cement siding division. )

I was hired on as a Supervisor. Most of my time with Certain Teed was spent in Medford Oregon training on how to produce fiber cement siding. Unfortunately, during this time the economy collapsed and knows one in the Midwest was buying into the new technology. The company plant closed directly after it started. Saingobain decided to sell the structure, located in Terre Hautes Business Park.

Blank Press and Set up Operator

Stamped over 200k clutch and brake pads weekly. Familiar with Minster and Komatsu high speed stamping and forming presses. Utilized Tandem, Progressive and single out dies, utilizing SMED methodology.

Dynamometer Technician

Tested coefficient of friction and reviewed inertia cycle stop applications, using automatic and diesel dynamometers. Quarterly validations for current product as well as newly established friction materials.

Steel Plant Supervisor

Plant supervisor for 90 direct reports. In charge of steel stamping, furnace flattening, and gear shape operations.

Steel Plant Lead Supervisor

Plant supervisor for 150 indirect reports and 4 plant supervisors as direct contacts for 3 shifts of operation.
