Member of a six person outsource CA Gen conversion project. Performed CA Gen development tasks converting Nevada’s UNITY application (Statewide Child Welfare Information System) from a Windows based client/server application to a browser based web application using CA Gen’s window design tools.

Supported a large CA Gen Order Management System and Billing System. Unix, C, and Oracle environment. HTML, ASP, and Java web pages designed with CA Gen tool set.

Developed the programs to load order and shipment data into the Shipment History data warehouse. This data warehouse became the central point for users to review data concerning shipped orders.

Involved in the development of the order status tracking subsystem. This subsystem tracked each order as it progressed through the ordering process, capturing the date of each status change.

Led the project to develop the forecasting subsystem of the order management application. This subsystem consisted of a series of web pages and batch programs. This greatly improved the process in which internal users communicated with external users concerning order forecasts.

Co-led the project to move an application which automatically generated daily orders for re-stocking Dealer inventory from a SQL Server based system to that of the order management system.

Developed 40 web pages primarily using the CA Gen tool set. Code generated by CA Gen was in HTML, JSP, and Java. Made enhancements to the generated logic to allow CSS style sheets, incorporating these changes into the tool set procedure logic. Developed Java action blocks to automatically pick up user id and password – eliminating user sign in. During the web development phase, also used Javascript and JQuery to bettter asist with comprehension of the generated code.

Supported the billing system used to bill external customers for orders placed in the order management system. This system was also maintained in the CA Gen tool set. Using the tool set developed a set of 10 client-server programs which allowed users to view data loaded into the Shipment History data warehouse. Most of the programs personally developed for the billing system were batch programs. Made data model changes as required.
