• Analytical testing of

- Finished product: release, stability, in process samples for assay, impurity, dissolution, dosage, blend, moisture in accordance with in-house methods, SOPs

- Raw Materials, components as per approved test methods and compendia - USP/NF, EP

• Instrumentation: Hands on experience, advanced knowledge, troubleshooting- HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/Vis, AA, Karl Fisher, Dissolution, Disintegration, Malvern Particle Size Analyzer

• Wet chemistry techniques- pH, conductivity, volumetric titrations, identification tests, Thin layer chromatographic technique (TLC plate) etc

• Measurement of physical parameters: Particle size by sieve analysis, bulk density, tapped density determination

• Actively participate in OOS/OOT laboratory investigations, change controls, regulatory submissions and assist with specification setting, and updates, annual product reviews, and other investigations

• Author/ prepare SOPs, protocols, test methods and other technical documents

• Peer review testing from other analysts in the quality control as per approved methods and SOPs

• Perform method transfer, validation, verification studies in laboratory

• Perform instrument calibrations as assigned

• Prepare reports of testing, analysis, and conclusions

• Ensure compliance in documentation of work in the lab notebook and annexures

• Prepares spreadsheets, Analytical Report Forms and Certificates of Analysis with quality and diligence

• Assist in pulling samples from stability chamber and log in samples as necessary

• Train junior fellow chemists in laboratory as needed
