Nursing Duties:

•Providing optimal patient care in a team environment

•Responsible for the well being of 6-8 clients per shift via frequent assessment, medication administration, and working with multidisciplinary teams. These may include but not limited to: Physicians, Surgeons, IV Team, Dietary, and providing transitional support to the family

•Monitoring/interpreting EKG strips for a busy 16-bed critical care unit.

•Providing direct patient care/ADLs. Documentation in the medical record includes but is not limited to Assessments, medications, CBGs, vital signs, I/O, activity, skin/mouth care.
