NOKIA, USA (Continued)

Deployed platforms at over 20 design, development, production and contract manufacturing locations worldwide, providing ability to be re-deployed to new locations with minimal effort.

Balanced multiple technical projects simultaneously, collaborating across cultural and language barriers within dynamic environment of extreme workforce and expense restraints.

Principal RF Transceiver Development Engineer 1992 to 2006

Designed and developed hardware and software test solution for high volume Cellular Base Station Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) transceivers.

Selected as technical lead for multiple UUT pilot projects, managing hardware and software development team for TDMA Digital Radios, delivering more than $2M in cost savings as well as multibillion-dollar profits for Lucent.

Designed and implemented test systems and automated test software solutions for high volume production test of TDMA Transceivers.

Conducted root cause analysis, defining and implementing solution to perform accurate and repeatable RF measurements, including intermodulation distortion (IMD), adjacent channel power (ACP), harmonics, error vector magnitude (EVM), modulation accuracy, receive signal strength indicator (RSSI) and bit error rate (BER).

Executed proficient control of multiple instruments over GPIB, using SCPI and VISA commands, including vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, power supplies and VXI cards.

Collaborated with design teams in Ohio and New Jersey in automating design verification testing and determining accurate production test requirements and specifications.

Created design for testability (DFT) standards for transceiver design by reviewing all artwork designs for DFT conformance.

Developed and delivering solutions critical in providing internal production volumes of up to 2K units / week.

Analyzed production data to justify test elimination, achieving multiple test time reductions, yield improvements, and test measurement verifications, minimizing test bench to test bench variation.
