Develop and maintain strategies and procedures for the accessioning, description, and use of electronic materials.

Planned and prepared materials for archival processing.

Planned and oversees electronic records archiving projects by setting priorities, establishing plans, and leading project teams of staff and students

Proactively participate in the appraisal, acquisition, accessioning, and preservation of electronic records.

In collaboration with the Libraries’ Digital Programs and Initiatives unit, contribute to the development of appropriate preservation and management systems for electronic/born-digital material.

Assisted the university colleges and departments in surveying electronic records, defining and prioritizing records management issues, and identifying appropriate strategies and technologies to improve the transfer of records to collections of the University libraries.

Provide training and consultations on records management issues and questions.

Work with records creators/donors both on and off campus to facilitate the transfer of their materials to collections of the University libraries.

Ability to create a program of research and service appropriate for the university community.

Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills including the ability to articulate highly technical concepts and requirements to a variety of audiences.

Has been leading the Department of Biomedical Sciences by effectively undertaking both national and international responsibilities which include implementation of the three objectives of the higher education since October 2014.

Has been serving as College Council Secretary, College of Medicine and Health Sciences Adigrat University since October 2014.
