The images received from the client are geopositioned to lat-long NAD 83.

Digitization

The vector data is captured in three layers namely street, water and rails. The capturing is done under each layer according to the specifications given by the client for each layer with respect to the data given y the client and any new streets.

Output

GGEP 1 output consists of upgrading or realignment of the existing street network with respect to the latest images given by the client.

Quality Control

The errors like assigning wrong z-elevations, capturing in wrong layers, unjustified event codes are identified in this step and if any are sent for correction to the previous step.

Appending

The QC files are edge matched and then appended to get the entire drawing of the county.

Processing: The appended data will be converted from *.dwg files to e00 format and query files in shape format.

Final: The e00 files are converted to the final format of the output i.e. vector data in MapInfo format.

QA

Running logical checks until the data is assured for the requirements asked by the client

This Geo Info project is basically image-engineering project that involved ortho-rectification of images with the Reference of landline and boundary of the area available.

Ariel photographs with different resolution, landlines of different nature, point file having the info of the flight line are the inputs provided to ortho rectify the images. The best-fit area s selected from the overlapping ortho rectified images and mosaicked.
