Description:

- The Making Home Affordable Program (MHA) is a critical part of the Obama Administration’s broad strategy to help homeowners avoid foreclosure, stabilize the country's housing market, and improve the nation's economy. Home affordable Modification Program (HAMP) lowers the monthly mortgage payment in order to make them more affordable and sustainable for a long-term. HAMP program houses a number of programs under it like Second Lien Modification Program, Home affordable Foreclosure Alternative (HAFA) program, Home affordable Unemployment program.

- Fannie Mae is the largest player in secondary mortgage industry in USA. For securities accounting, FUSE program was initiated to reduce the number of processes and manual interventions in the legacy accounting system. While Sim Corp Dimension application does the accounting, position establishment for Stand Alone Asset lots for GAAP and Tax accounting is done in the interface area and fed into SCD. Data from Capital Markets and EDI shall be received on a daily basis for all securities that are bought into Fannie Mae Stand Alone Asset Portfolio and events like liquidation, pay downs,redemptions, amortization, impairments, consolidation, etc are applied on them. Restructuring of the existing structured or the unstructured products would be accounted for. Depending on the product and corporate actions, either settlement date accounting or trade date accounting would be determined. Booking rules are applied and posted into GL.

Responsibilities:

Developing and Modified Test cases from Business Requirements in ALM/HP Quality Center

Description:

–Worked as a QA Team Lead for the OFLC one-Stop Portal application this provides a single entry for the entire FLC application. This acts as a central repository for FLC content which includes form, news and alerts. It is a single search engine in which a public with one unique account can submit and process the application for foreign labor certifications programs like LCA (H1B,H-1B1,E3), the Temporary programs(H-2A,H-2B) or the PERM.

–Worked as Senior Software QA engineer For Prisoner Re-entry Initiative .This program, which involves several Federal agencies, is designed to reduce recidivism by helping inmates find work when they return to their communities, as part of an effort to build a life in the community for everyone. Description:

–Validated Infranet, which is a customer management, and billing system. It manages customer information, rates and bills the customer at the end of the billing cycle. Infranet application was validated every time AOL announced new package, price plan change or when it cancelled some of the existing package.

–Worked as Senior Software QA engineer on DMP (Digital Media platform) project that gives the ability for AOL subscriber and non-AOL member the ability to purchase digital music and games.

–Worked as a QA lead on cycle billing application under AR (Account Receivable) project that consolidates charges (billable and non-billable) to member and produce bills depending on their offer. The application also generates reports and other processing statistics and groups the monthly fees and session charges into line items that display in the member billing statement.

–Worked as a QA lead on Valista Premium Services Platform project that seeks to modularize business processes and back -office system to support AOL premium service. This new service supports both AOL and NON- AOL members. The PSA/Valista platform was developed as a J2EE application supported by BEA WebLogic 8.1 application server and Oracle 9i database.
