Assisted victims in the court process by assuring their rights weren’t violated counseled them in times of crisis and trauma. I Performed intake interviews of victims to prepare them for court proceedings, conducted assessments to determine if they were able to testify, recommended resources, and legal assistance through the district attorney office. I assisted them with Georgia Crime Compensation requests, handled all information in a confidential manner to assure victims were secure and assisted in a safe manner. I also assisted investigators with intake processes, home visits, and related processes. Typed correspondence, court calendars, maintained calendars, assisted trial teams with admin work, called victims and community resources, and written communiqués. Educated victims on their Victim Bill of Rights, Assisted with restitution, coached with interviewing and testifying for trial.
