OBJECTIVE
I am seeking a Full time LPN position with Copper Ridge Health & Rehab Center
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Nursing
Provide/follow prescribed medical treatment and/or personal care services to critical and cardiac patients (including code blue situations).
Perform accurate patient assessments, take and record vital signs.
Assist Physician with sterile techniques to perform necessary aseptic procedures, suture, biopsy, removal of foreign bodies, wound care and dressings.
Collect samples of body fluids for testing and/or perform CLIA and NON-CLIA in-house testing.
Prepare collected specimens in an appropriate manner for shipment to an outside lab.
Perform lab proficiency tests as indicated by the College of American Pathologist (CAP) and Idaho Department of Laboratories.
Administer specific medication orally, sublingually, by intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular injection.
Obtain IV site and administer specific intravenous fluids.
Annotate patients’ records of all treatments, observations, reactions, food and fluids intake/output.
Knowledge and use of Electronic Medical Records (ECW).
Preceptor for BSU nursing students with learned skills to fulfill the clinical curriculum of the BSU Nursing Program.
Inventory, restock, and secure medical supplies.
Administer child, adolescent, and adult immunizations according to ACIP Guidelines.
Reconcile all State supplied immunizations administered to children and adolescents.
