A successful and highly motivated Materials/Logistics Manager with over thirty five years

extensive experience in Logistics, Materials Control, Expediting and Warehouse

Management. Extensive all round experience in materials purchasing, expediting and

inventory control for major clients and contractors within various industries, which has

included construction, civil, mining, oil/gas, power/desalination, cleanroom technology, and

petrochemical, in addition to a thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 standards. Excellent

01/13 07/16 With Kinetics GmbH. At King Abdul Aziz City for Science & Technology

in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as a Materials/Warehouse Manager,

Responsibilities include the following:

Provide materials support services to the project, operations, maintenance and engineering.

Accountable for the delivery of all materials to installations within the project. Review and

develop robust controls, systems and processes to ensure the effective movement of all

materials. Attend weekly planning meetings to provide materials input.

Facilitate the movement of any 3rd party materials. Act as a communications focal point for

all aspects of material control. Monitoring of deliveries in line with planned project schedules.

Make regular visits to Warehouse and maintain regular contact with key vendors. Prioritise

and process all Air Freight requirements. Comply with all relevant procedures. Validate the

materials information on job cards. Liaison with project engineers, construction, suppliers

and warehouse. Validate and action all plant, equipment and consumables requisitions.

Recall and off-hire equipment on completion of use. Maintain a plant & equipment database.

Monitor and manage off-hire and certification dates for all plant and equipment. Ensure

To supervise and coordinate, in accordance with Company policies and procedures, the

activities to ensure the prompt and economical availability of materials required for the

company's cleanroom technology project requirements. Provide strategic direction for all

Materials Management Issues including initiating Contract procedures to suit the needs of

each project phase. Become recognised Project focal point with Contactors for all Materials

Conveyance. Management Consultancy to Client - GMRA. BRNA as the consultant

reporting and satisfactory close-out of all construction contracts for each phase of the

GMRP.

As head of BRNA Materials, have responsibility for ensuring all Contractors satisfactorily

develop, execute and complete all contractual deliverables relating to Materials

Management, i.e. Procurement Schedule/Planning and Progress, Source Planning, Vendor

Identification/Evaluation - Commercial/Technical/QA. Procurement Placement -

Manufacturing / Expediting / Inspection / Delivery. Progress Shipping, Import, Receipt and

Final Inspection/Acceptance. Payment Processing/ verification for Permanent

Equipment/Materials Finalisation of Capital Asset Register (Master Equipment List) Provision

To manage, co-ordinate and oversee all aspects of the Logistics Function which includes

Purchasing, Expediting, Inspection and Shipping, ensuring that they are carried out in

accordance with Company Policy Procedures and Control. Interface with client and other

work package contractors.

Develop project Logistics plan for project duration and interface with engineering activity to

allow the procurement of critical purchase orders. In particular, Nickel steel, cryogenic rebar

and rafter, sphere shell plates and atmospheric tank roof, bottom and shell end plates.

Project Scope of Work inclusive of Supply and Construct 4 Off Cryogenic Storage Tanks,
