Sales Associates, Sears

Started out working as a part time Sales Associates while attending college. Eventually progressed to full time sales after graduation.

Worked as the Assistant Manager of outdoor sports and toy department. I was responsible for the day to day operation of managing these two areas and supervision of sales personnel.

Eventually became outside sales representative for major appliances and installed jobs

9/1973-9/1976 Grocery Clerk, Malone & Hyde Foods

Duties included working as evening stock clerk stocking grocery items on the shelves while attending college during the day.

I eventually moved up to the Assistant Manager of the store’s produce department. This entry level position afforded me the opportunity to learn various managerial skills such as dealing with employees, vendors and sales reps. This position also taught me how to operate within budget and save the company money.
