Last 4 years at Anthem provided telephonic services to Seniors over 65 with severe medical and terminal illnesses with many Social needs utilizing Medicare, Medicaid, Dept. of Social Services, Social Security and community agencies, i. e. Hospice, Hospitals, Home Health Care, etc.

10/1/1998-11/15/2009 Employed at Colo. Mental Health Institute at Ft. Logan on a Residential Treatment Team to a chronically mentally ill and behaviorally disturbed Adolescent population and their families. Employed as Lead Social Worker in this program.

8/10/1984-8/31/1998 Employed in the Dept. of Psychiatry at University of Colo. Health Sciences Center at the Day Care Center & later named Day Psychiatric Hospital at University of Colorado. Worked with Elementary to Adolescent population and their families with psychiatric and behavioral disturbances. In roles of Clinical Director, Lead Social Worker, Director of Intake, and many other job functions throughout the program.

June 1972 – August 1984 Employed at the Colorado Mental Health Institute @ Ft. Logan. Worked with Adult patients both inpatient and outpatient settings as Social Worker and Lead Social Worker. Worked with inpatient Elementary and Adolescent Children, including Locked Adolescent Unit at Ft. Logan. Employed in roles of Social Worker, Lead Social Worker, and Team Leader of a locked 28 bed inpatient setting for Adults at Ft. Logan.

September 1969 – May 1972 Graduated from Case Western University with MSW (MSSA) degree. Placement experiences in the community as Social Worker Intern in the probation Dept. of Cuyahoga County in Cleveland, Ohio. Second year field placement in a private Residential Treatment facility (Beech Brook) for psychiatrically disturbed Elementary population and their families.

September 1965 to August 1969 Employed at the Colo. State Hospital in Pueblo. Received training as Psychiatric Technician and Mental Health Worker I & II. Worked with Pre-adolescent and Adolescent boys and girls in milieu management. Also, supervised for training in doing Individual and Group psychotherapies by Team Psychiatrists and other professional staff.
