Responsibilities:

As a lead tech I am responsible for providing leadership to mechanics underneath myself. Work with upper management on status updates and productivity of mechanics on floor. Makes sure that daily work tasks and duties are in order. Coordinate with unit personnel and command on status of equipment and procurement of job related materials. Work on many vehicles which include but are not limited to; LMTV's, FMTV's, PLS's, HEMMIT's, HUMMWV's, Caterpillar, Bulldozers, Cummins, Allison transmissions, Terex, Tracks, John Deere, and 10k Fork Lift.

Performed all types of repairs and troubleshooting which include A/C system repair, engine and transmission overhaul, hydraulic cylinder repair, pneumatic repair, power failure diagnosis, low power conditions, no start conditions, electrical troubleshooting, schematic and TM readings, transfer case malfunctions, charging system diagnosis and up -armor removal and installation.

As a heavy equipment tech I have worked on heavily armored wheeled vehicles of the MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) family that range from the Buffalo, Rg31, RG33, Husky, MATV, Maxx Pro, Mervv, Caiman, and Cougar.
