Provided Proton Physics expertise to Treatment Planning System (TPS) Company in the designing of a new TPS.

Java Work

Designed and programmed Java application to model single energy proton peak. For treatment calculation the proton peak must be properly set.

Designed and programmed Java applications to characterize spread out proton peaks and proton beam profiles used for proton treatment. Used for Quality Assurance purposes that the proton delivery machine was working properly so treatment was what was prescribed. Used Least square fit to add step functions to limited resolution data to get quantitative values.

Designed and programmed Java application to characterize output of the proton machine used for proton treatment. Used for Quality Assurance purposes that the proton delivery gave the proper dose as prescribed. Used Least square fit to add step functions to limited resolution data to get quantitative values. In order to bring a new proton treatment machine on line earlier, analyzed and created a simple method of creating a proton treatment beam.

Designed Graphics Package in Java using native Java Code from Java 5. Migrated into Java 8. At the time Graphics Package was not available.
