Project Name: Campus wide networking Implementation and Maintaining. (CMERI, Durgapur)

India’s first Public Sector Unit (PSU) - ITI Ltd, it has contributed to 50% of the present national telecom network, has offloaded this project to Syscomp.

Aggressively recruited project handling team member for successfully laying of OFC, managing entire support IT infrastructures of CMERI, Durgapur, West Bengal, India. Challenge was to maintain entire 1500 remote nodes with the team of 05 fresher.

Notable Accomplishments:

Installation two 3com 8807 core Switch, with different type of VLAN and load balancing systems & automatic fail over systems, like core 1 switch is down so core 2 switches is automatic position in core 1 switch. All switches are connective in optical fiber cable & fiber 1 GBPS module.

Installation Linux mail server, running with send mail. Implementing Securities in live server. Continuous monitoring with port scanning and other utilities, Link firewall.

Installation Linux web server. Configure it for intranet and internet. Installation proxy server, client are connected with different type of VLAN.

Samba configure for back up of live server data to LTO connected with windows 2003 server.

Incase of live server failure backup server configure.

For remote accessing webmin, remote desktop sharing implemented.

Configuration of extreme 8800 core switch with port base VLAN, Configure spanictree protocol in two switches.

Configure Avaya IP Phone with server in 30 telephones, there are connected in LAN.

Configure IBM blade server in 10 blades, install windows 2003 Server, with active directory, configure exchange server, and implement firewall (Cyberoam 500i) in 1200 users. Setting up campus wide wireless network in different location in different Tower. all area are connected optical fiber cable (10 G back bone).

Installation wireless network in total campus. Configure IBM NAS Systems.

Vinobabhava University

Configure Net gear L3 Switch & net gear 102.0 mbps wireless access point. Here total systems are Wi Fi system, here 5 building are connected through optical fiber cable 6 core, and 6 departments are internally connecter Net gear wireless access point.
