Home Unit Assignments:

Compiled service history of over 100 personnel for deployment readiness and ensured 100% of personnel were ready for Afghanistan deployment in the span of three weeks. This involved being accountable for and maintaining all soldiers’ personal information (medical records, social security numbers, addresses, etc.) during this time. Received an Army Commendation Medal in recognition for my work.

Assigned as the Retention NCO for my company from 2006 to 2007, responsible for retaining soldiers approaching their end of contract dates by assessing their career goals and providing opportunities for training and career advancement. Also provided soldiers who were electing to leave the military with resources to help them transition into the civilian world, such as linking them with veteran organizations, informing them of VA healthcare benefits and tools to help them with building their resumes.

Held a Secret Security Clearance for duration of time in the army (currently inactive).

Iraq and Afghanistan Deployment:

Lead a team of three soldiers during Afghanistan deployment.

Organized multiple convoy missions, meetings, routes, and logistics during Iraq and Afghanistan deployments.
